Destination Weddings

Whenever you get the opportunity to combine your favourite things the answer should always be,

“YES LETS DO IT!!!”

So when we were asked if we would like to shoot a wedding in Portugal this summer, we checked the diary and blocked off the dates on one computer while booking flights on another!

Accommodation, plans, logistics, timetables, (THE LANGUAGE BARRIER!) etc. would all be worked out later, our bags were being packed and we were off!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Why the excitement? Well for us as Photographers we always love to work on something different.

 

 

 

 

 

We have shot quite a few destination weddings over the years, often hopping on a flight from Kerry to Stanstead and travelling to as faraway places as Sydney!

If you haven’t met us yet, you won’t know that we love meeting people from all over the world. In the next month alone we have at least 6 couples from outside Ireland who have asked us to shoot their day. We both feel that we were born to travel and if we can’t physically go then the next best thing is to meet people from other countries and learn from them.

We are also incredibly competitive (towards each other) and we love to create art that will forever hang in someone’s home reminding them of a happy moment/ day/ time in their lives…. and did I mention that we love to travel?

 

 

 

 

 

So for our current and past couples who live abroad and often say oh,

“I would love if you could shoot my sister’s/brother’s/friends wedding but it is in another country”….

Our answer is always, “we have passports!”

So whenever the opportunity arises that someone finds us and asks, “Is it a possibility that you would travel for our wedding?” the answer will 99% of the time be YES!
